I made all of these treats for my boyfriend's cousin's wedding. It was so much fun to be at the event and watch everything get eaten!

inspired by the book "hello cupcake" these are lemon cupcakes that were first scratch-coated with buttercream frosting and then piped with a plain round tip to create the noodles (leave a well for the meatball and sauce in the centre of each cupcake)

the "meatballs" are ferrero rocher chocolates tossed in unsweetened raspberry preserves

the "parmesan cheese" is grated white chocolate

Little Alice is sitting on her madhatter cupcake! Flickr group '4 the love of cake' held a cupcake challenge with the theme of Alice in wonderland. I know that madhatter cakes are inspired from this movie, and I just loved the idea of making a madhatter cupcake. This was great practice for my modelling.
You can't see it that well, but the cupcake case was a bit off and gave the perfect base madhatter tier!
It won 3rd place in the intermediate class. I'm so happy!
